Still sunny in Northern California despite the political news, we are trying not to overthink. In fact, I’m tempted to resort to the language of signs, I mean emojiis.

But this really just to say that The Community of Writers has featured my new collection Apple Thieves in their latest newsletter with a photo, the title poem, which was first published in The New Yorker and the last poem, “Monarch,” a butterfly-shaped calligramme, after Apollinaire whose poems I have translated.
